About CreditLift
A consumer-first way to dispute credit reports.
CreditLift exists because credit disputes shouldn't be a black box. We built the tool we wished existed when we first tried to clean up our own reports — transparent, consumer-controlled, FCRA-aligned, and powered by USPS Certified Mail so every submission has a paper trail.
Mission
Make credit disputes understandable and accountable.
Millions of credit reports contain errors. The Fair Credit Reporting Act gives every consumer the right to dispute them — but the process is intimidating, the deadlines are easy to miss, and most existing services hide what they're actually doing. CreditLift puts the dispute back in your hands and shows you everything as it happens.
Vision
Every consumer can audit their own credit data.
A future where reading, disputing, and tracking your credit report is as straightforward as reading a bank statement — and where every dispute has documented proof of delivery, response, and outcome.
How CreditLift works
01
Upload your credit report
Pull your free 3-bureau report from AnnualCreditReport.com or any tracker you already use. We import it and detect items eligible for dispute.
02
Review & approve
Pick the items you want to dispute. CreditLift generates an FCRA-aligned letter for each bureau and shows you exactly what it will send.
03
Certified mail handoff
Approved letters are printed and mailed USPS Certified Mail with tracking. You see live status — mailed → in transit → delivered.
04
Track every response
Upload bureau responses as they arrive. CreditLift tracks the 30-day FCRA clock and surfaces what to do next — escalate, follow up, or close.
What we stand for
Consumer-first
You own every dispute. CreditLift never acts on your behalf without your review — every letter, every address, every claim passes through your hands before it leaves the door.
Built for trust
Encryption at rest, TLS in transit, hashed passwords, least-privilege access, and a tamper-evident audit log. Operational notifications are opt-in and never include sensitive identifiers.
Privacy by default
We don't sell your data. We don't share it beyond the certified-mail and payment vendors required to operate the service, and even those see only the minimum needed to do their job.
FCRA-aligned letters
Letters follow the structure expected by the credit bureaus under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We're a software tool, not a law firm — but the templates are written to match what consumer-rights attorneys recommend.
